Michael Hall Meets with USJA Leadership to Support Treasurer Transition and Digital Platform Improvements

Harrisburg, PA – March 2025 – Michael Hall met this week with United States Judo Association (USJA) President David Brogan and newly appointed Treasurer Paul Bova in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to support Mr. Bova’s transition into his new role and to plan key upgrades to the USJA’s website and online services.

The meetings focused on strengthening the organization’s financial oversight while also giving its digital infrastructure a much-needed refresh—starting with the most-used and often-frustrating area of the site: the forms section.

“This wasn’t just a meet-and-greet,” said Hall. “We were there to solve problems. The forms section, in particular, is getting rebuilt to make it easier for members to find what they need, and move on with their day.”

Paul Bova, a respected figure in the judo community, brings a strong background in finance and operations to the treasurer role. His onboarding includes not just getting up to speed on internal processes, but also helping to lead transparency and modernization efforts.

Website changes will also include improved registration tools, communication features, and a more mobile-friendly interface.

Initial updates are expected to roll out in phases over the coming months.
